We had afternoon tea on a quiet 5th January. The service was fantastic, and the girl who served us (apologies I didn't catch her name but she was new), was very friendly and attentive throughout. The food was still festive and high quality and we were sat in the bay window with nice views of the grounds. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

We had our wedding at Fanhams Hall last year. It was as close to perfect as possible, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it. Symphonie was brilliant in helping plan for the day, and Rachel, the event manager, and her team couldn't have done more. The food was also amazing. All guests thoroughly enjoyed it, and the rooms are of a great standard.

Spent two nights either side of my nephew's wedding. The attention to detail was amazing. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The setting was a lovely old country house that had been sympathetically extended retaining the amazing facade and gardens. If I am in that area again I will definitely stay again.

I didn't see the rooms so I can't comment on them, but the rest of the place is lovely. Plenty of parking, the grounds are beautiful, and the building is spectacular! And the staff that served us were perfect. No complaints at all. Beautiful place.

Gorgeous Boxing day meal. Relaxed peaceful time letting someone else cook. Great food Caring thoughtful staff. good price in the most idylic setting.

Stayed the night for a friend's wedding. We had to change our booking last minute as we needed to bring our dog. The staff were happy to accommodate us with their dog friendly room. We also had car trouble the following morning and the staff were again very friendly and helpful allowing us to use the restaurant while we waited for the roadside assistance. It is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens, which are well worth taking the time to walk round.

What a wonderful period property. Set in the countryside just outside Ware. A peaceful setting for afternoon tea. Very comfortable. The cakes, sandwiches and scones were all beautifully presented and very fresh. I am looking forward to visiting again.

We booked for afternoon tea with the family for a birthday celebration as it's a family fav and it didn't disappoint! We had great service throughout and also replenished the plates with a few of mine and the kids favored sandwiches. All in all a great experience and lovely grounds to stroll round and help burn off the extra servings.
